The InkTank Studios Fan Art Contest!
That's right, the newly formed InkTank Studios is running a contest. This time, in conjunction with Sideshow Collectables , I am offering some prizes for the most imaginative, original and all around peachy keen InkTank themed fan art!
The Objective:
All you need to do is create some InkTank Studios fan art and send it to me to be entered in the contest. It can be based on the new InkTank strip, or any of the other InkTank Studios strips including Angst Technology , Sorry, We're Open or Weak End Warriors .
The entries can be done in any media from pencil and paper to computer graphics, oil paints to macaroni sculpture. Just send me images of your entry that I can place in a "Fan Art Gallery" and I will pick my three favorites and send out prizes.
The Prizes:
1st Place: Iron Man Subcast from Sideshow Collectables and an original character drawing of an InkTank Studios character (your choice from any strip series, limit 2 characters max).
2nd Place: Firefly DVD boxed set and an original character drawing of an InkTank Studios character (your choice from any strip series, limit 2 characters max).
3rd Place: An original character drawing of an InkTank Studios character (your choice from any strip series, limit 2 characters max).
The Rules:
Entries must be received between June 21st and July 11th.
Entries must be submitted in an image file that I can place on the fan art section. Minimum 800 x 600 image dimensions (it can be bigger, but I need a decent sized file to work with).
Entrants may send original work to me, but it will not be returned (I might just like it too much and keep it). =)
Entrants agree to allow their entry to be shown in the InkTank Studios fan art section of the website. You can opt to be credited or uncredited with your work.
Winners allow reproduction and likeness rights in the promotion of the contest after the fact (read: I might like to post your pic and winning entry on the website and it will only be used in conjunction with contest related matters).
In general, show the InkTank Studios characters some love and try your hand at winning some swag!
Entries will be reviewed from July 12th to the 13th with the winner being notified by phone or email and announced (upon acceptance and confirmation) on the InkTank website on July 18th.
Prizes will be sent out from the respective holding agents (Sideshow will send the Iron Man Subcast, Barry will send the Firefly DVDs and drawings). Please see Sideshow shipping disclaimer below.
